Of interest to: 20 |
Script details: |
Small, rural bus companies could be put out of business by new EU proposals – that’s the fear of Fine Gael MEP, Jim Higgins. Under the plans, which have gained the support of the European Parliament today, the companies would have to pay compensation for delays and lost baggage. Jim Higgins says that whilst that might be fine for the larger companies, it would be devastating for small operators. |
